The ambassadors talked with the speaker about the political confusion in Sri Lanka.
In contrast to the constitution, Mahinda Rajapaksa was appointed prime minister and their holders in parliament forcibly sabotaged the parliament. They expressed their displeasure to the speaker about the political turmoil in Sri Lanka.
They also warned that international conflicts with the Sri Lankan economy would be confronted with political confusion.
Speaker requested them not to take any diplomatic measures against Sri Lanka in a hurry.
The Speaker told foreign delegates that he had met with the president to take steps to comply with the country's constitution and to bring the parliament to a resolution of the political confusion and to speak to the president.
